🚨 A DAY OF ADVENTURE TURNED INTO TRAGEDY — 12 LIVES LOST IN HORRIFIC SKYDIVING PLANE CRASH 💔✈️

BUTLER, Missouri — A devastating aviation tragedy has left families, friends, and the skydiving community in mourning after a skydiving aircraft carrying 11 skydivers and one pilot crashed shortly after takeoff on Sunday near Butler Memorial Airport.

All 12 people on board lost their lives as federal investigators continue working to determine exactly what happened.

Authorities and loved ones have identified most of the victims, remembering them as experienced jumpers, mentors, teachers, parents, and pᴀssionate members of the skydiving world.

Among those confirmed are Dave Hershberger, Matthew Swope, Marcus Miller, Jen Sharp, Nick Nash, Mike Shanahan, Dane Cordes, Dustin McKinney, and Will Fischer. Officials have not publicly confirmed every name as the identification process continues.

According to investigators, the Pacific Aerospace 750XL aircraft departed from Butler Memorial Airport before appearing to lose power and descending back toward the ground.

Witnesses said the airplane was flying too low for anyone to safely exit with a parachute before it impacted the ground and caught fire.

Friends described Dave Hershberger as a dedicated music teacher who inspired countless students, while Matthew Swope was remembered as a cancer survivor who embraced life through skydiving.

Jen Sharp, a respected instructor and leader in the sport, was praised for mentoring new jumpers and sharing her pᴀssion with thousands of people.

Will Fischer had been working toward becoming a certified instructor, and Dustin McKinney was known for capturing unforgettable moments as a skydiving videographer.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration have launched a full investigation into the accident, examining the aircraft, maintenance records, engine performance, and flight operations.

Officials say it may take many months before a final report determines the probable cause of the crash.

As memorials continue to grow and tributes pour in from across the United States, the victims are being remembered not only for their love of adventure but also for the impact they made on their families, friends, students, and the skydiving community.
