A COUPLE has been charged with murder after allegedly killing a beloved bartender, then dismembering his body and dumping the remains in a reservoir.
Mario Andre Barber, 46, and Brittany Amber Baker, 42, have been arrested and charged in the slaying of Jamal Rashad Parker, 37, according to police.

Parkerâs remains were recovered from the Dog River Reservoir along Highway 166 in Douglas County, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, on May 15.
They went unidentified for a month until the Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed his idenŃΚŃy through DNA comparison.
Investigators believe Parker was killed inside Bakerâs Douglasville home.
Deputies spent four days searching the house, hauling out a reciprocating saw, cleaning supplies and air fresheners, Law & Crime reported.

Jail records show the pair had previously been charged with a slew of crimes, including idenŃΚŃy theft, forgery and drug offenses.
Arrest warrants revealed they had stolen driverâs licenses and manufactured fake IDs, license plates and registrations.
Parkerâs family told ABC affiliate WSB-TV that Barber and Baker dismembered Parkerâs body before dumping parts in the water.
âAnd we canât even have a regular funeral because of his condition,â Jamalâs father, Charles Parker, told the outlet.
âI want them to be punished. And I donât even think a life sentence is good enough.â
He added: âItâs the kind of stuff you see on TV, but I mean ⌠they had no remorse.â
It remains unclear how they knew Parker, but a GoFundMe set up by his uncle Darryl McCoy said his nephew had been âbrutally murderedâ by people he âknew and trusted.â
âJamal was a beautiful soul and spirit,â McCoy wrote.
âHe loved life and the people he met along his journey in life.
âHe was a musical artist, visual artist, and a professional bartender who enjoyed creating new drinks.â
McCoy added: âThis has totally devastated our family and friends and has left us heartbroken.â
The Douglas County Sheriffâs Office did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sunâs request for comment.
