🚨 NEW YORK FAMILY TRAGEDY: Grandmother Identified as Primary Suspect After Six Family Members Found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ

Mechanicville, New York – Authorities continue investigating the tragic discovery of six members of the same family inside an apartment on Harris Avenue in Mechanicville, a case that has deeply affected the local community.

Police identified the individuals involved as Amy Steadman, 64, Sarah Myers, 44, and Sarah’s four children: Harper Harmon, 13, Hudson Harmon, 11, and 10-year-old twins Gavin Harmon and Gracelynn Harmon.

According to the Mechanicville Police Department, officers responded to the residence after neighbors requested a welfare check when they had not seen the family for several days.

Investigators later confirmed that there is currently no evidence suggesting outside involvement, and officials say there is no ongoing threat to the public.

During a press briefing, police stated that Amy Steadman is considered the principal suspect based on evidence recovered during the investigation, including a handwritten note and other items found inside the apartment.

However, authorities emphasized that the investigation remains active while toxicology and forensic examinations continue.

Officials also reported that preliminary findings indicate several family members may have p4ss3d under circumstances consistent with suspected p01s0n1ng, while one child sustained additional injuries. Final conclusions will depend on the official medical examiner’s reports.

The children’s father, Brady Harmon, expressed profound sorrow after learning of the tragedy.

According to court records, he had recently been preparing to reunite with his children following ongoing custody proceedings, making the news even more devastating for the family.

Community members have placed flowers, balloons, stuffed animals, and handwritten messages outside the apartment complex as neighbors continue remembering Harper Harmon, Hudson Harmon, Gavin Harmon, and Gracelynn Harmon. Counseling services have also been made available for residents and students affected by the tragedy.

Authorities continue collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses as they work to determine exactly what occurred inside the apartment.

Police have asked the public to avoid speculation while the investigation remains ongoing and additional official findings are expected in the coming days.
