The mystery of the mummy with three fingers: suspected to be from extraterrestrial beings.
According to RT on March 12th, Russian scientists have analyzed tissue samples from the mummified remains of a creature believed to be an alien, with an elongated skull and three-fingered limbs, found in Peru last year, to decode its genome. The unusual characteristics of this mummy have fueled speculation that it is the body of an extraterrestrial being.

A mummy with an elongated skull and three-fingered hands and feet has sparked speculation that it could be the remains of an alien.
The mummy, named Maria, was found in early 2017 in a tomb near the Nazca lines in southern Peru, dating from the 5th century, about a millennium before the discovery of the Americas.
Preliminary analysis indicated that Maria “was a humanoid form and also had 23 pairs of chromosomes like us.”
Professor Konstantin Korotkov of the Russian National Research University and Natalya Zaloznaya, an expert in X-ray and sophisticated CT scanning at the International Insтιтute of Biological Systems, collected tissue samples in Peru and brought them to St. Petersburg for analysis.

According to Professor Korotkov, Maria may represent a race that evolved much earlier than humans, “possibly thousands of years ahead of us.” The professor hypothesizes that this biological species may have been wiped out by floods or a comet strike.
The team of experts is now investigating whether Maria’s anatomy resembles that of humans in South America, Africa, or anywhere else. “Right now, we are conducting a detailed analysis to see if the shape and position of all the chromosomes and amino acids match ours,” Korotkov told Mir 24.
The results of sophisticated X-rays and CT scans showed that the mummy’s rib structure was very different from that of humans. Bearing a ship-like ridge in the upper half, the rib cage consisted of several semicircular bones. The unusual shape of the skeleton prompted scientists to carefully study the internal organs of the mummy.

“We can clearly see the outlines of the trachea and bronchi, the heart and chambers. We can even see the shape of the valves.” “We also observed the diaphragm, liver, and spleen,” said X-ray expert Natalia Zaloznaya.
Scientists also discovered the mummy was covered in a white powder of cadmium chloride, which has antibacterial properties that helped preserve Maria’s body.
To decode the genome and discover the DNA of Maria’s mummy, the Russian research team is planning to collaborate with colleagues in Peru and intends to bring the mummy back to St. Petersburg.

Besides the Maria mummy, scientists also analyzed the genome of another mummy in Peru. While Maria was an adult female mummy, the other mummy, named Vavita, was only 9 months old when she died. The research team believes that Maria and Vavita may have been mother and daughter, according to Sputnik.
Professor Korotkov also confirmed that he had seen four other similar but smaller mummies in Peru, also with 23 pairs of chromosomes like humans. These mummies were male. “The mummies look like humans, but in essence, they are not. Their anatomical structure is different,” said Professor Korotkov.
